A new multilingual guide will help professionals and organisations prepare awareness-raising seminars and training activities on gender-based violence and harassment at work in the field of health.
As BRAVE-WOW completes its first year, the consortium is announcing the upcoming publication of Deliverable D4.2, the Booklet of guidance materials. At the core of this deliverable is the booklet entitled Guide to Materials and Activities for the Organisation of Awareness-Raising Seminars on Gender-Based Violence and Harassment at Work, which will be published in spring 2026.
This new resource has been developed to support the preparation of seminars and training activities on gender-based violence and harassment in the workplace. It offers practical and adaptable materials that can help organisations strengthen awareness, improve responses, and build safer and more respectful working environments.
Although the booklet has been developed with a particular focus on the healthcare sector, its approach can also be aligned with other professional settings. In this way, it is not only relevant for the BRAVE-WOW project, but also useful for professionals and institutions looking for a solid basis to organise awareness-raising and training initiatives in their own contexts.
The booklet has been produced through close collaboration between FICYT, SESPA and Fundación Mujeres. Its contents are based on recognised and reliable sources, as well as on the contribution of highly experienced professionals working on gender-based violence and harassment. It will provide a solid basis for the preparation of the pilot activities within the project.
Why does it matter?
Because turning knowledge into practical materials is essential to help organisations prevent and address gender-based violence and harassment at work.
