Three BRAVE-WOW researchers working at the University of Coimbra (UC) delivered an open lecture on 20th April in the course Scientific and Professional Communication in Organisational Psychology. This is part of UC’s Master’s programme in Organisational Psychology at the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences.
The session – hosted by Ana Sofia Menício, Diogo Cerdeira, and Hamid Melendez – provided an in-depth overview of the BRAVE-WOW project. Attendees were introduced to the project’s objectives, methodological approach, and expected impact, with particular emphasis on its contribution to tackling gender-based violence and harassment in the workplace.
By engaging directly with students and early-career professionals, the session helped to raise awareness of these critical issues and highlighted the role of research and European-funded initiatives in promoting safer, more inclusive, and more respectful work environments.
These initiatives reflect BRAVE-WOW’s commitment to bridging research, practice, and education. BRAVE-WOW will continue to engage with diverse audiences to maximise its impact and support the development of violence-free, gender-inclusive work environments across Europe.
