BRAVE-WOW continues to expand its outreach across both academic and professional communities, reinforcing its mission to address gender-based violence and harassment in the workplace. Recent activities included participation in an international conference and engagement with postgraduate students in Portugal.
The XIII International Conference on Research and Intervention in Human Resources (CiIIRH) is an established forum bringing together researchers and human resources professionals from diverse sectors. Researchers from the University of Coimbra (UC), Diogo Cerdeira and Ana Sofia Menício, presented the BRAVE-WOW project.
CiIIRH serves as a key annual meeting point between academia and industry, fostering dialogue on the challenges shaping contemporary work and organisational environments. Participation in this event provided an opportunity to position BRAVE-WOW within current debates on workplace wellbeing, organisational culture, and inclusive work environments.
The project’s focus on preventing and addressing gender-based violence and harassment—particularly in the healthcare sector—resonates with ongoing discussions in human resources and organisational development.
