Building a stronger Community of Practice within BRAVE-WOW

One of the most promising developments in BRAVE-WOW is the growing Community of Practice that aims to take shape across Europe. This network brings together professionals, organisations, and practitioners who are committed to creating safer and more respectful workplaces, especially in the health sector.
Over the past months, work has focused on identifying key actors, creating spaces for dialogue, and preparing the digital environment that will host ongoing exchanges.

Why do we need a Community of Practice? The aim is to build a community that supports shared learning, practical problem solving, and long term collaboration beyond the project’s lifecycle.

How the Community of Practice works
• Organisations exchange experiences and approaches through regular interactions and thematic discussions
• Members discuss concrete challenges in preventing and responding to workplace violence and harassment and reflect on what works in practice
• The network connects people who are working toward cultural and structural change in their own organisations and systems

Looking ahead
The next phase will include structured networking activities, online engagement, and preparatory steps for the launch of the digital platform that will host the community. The goal is to create a sustainable network that continues to support action well after the project ends.
More updates will follow as the Community of Practice grows and opens new opportunities for participation.
