SESPA successfully conducts the first BRAVE-WOW Focus Group at HUCA

The Health Service of the Principality of Asturias (SESPA), as an active part of the European project BRAVE-WOW, held a fundamental Focus Group with key sector stakeholders on November 27th. This meeting is an essential step for the development of effective tools to address gender-based violence and harassment in the healthcare workplace.
The session took place at the facilities of the Central University Hospital of Asturias (HUCA). It included the participation of 14 stakeholders, three SESPA Researchers, and two members from FICYT.

The objective of this activity was to support the design of the GBVW-Q questionnaire (Gender-Based Violence at Work Questionnaire), a tool that the University of Évora will develop based on an extensive review of literature and policies, as well as the information gathered in the focus groups from the four countries involved.
The working team is currently analyzing the conclusions drawn from the group. These results will directly help configure the GBVW-Q questionnaire, which is conceived as a key innovative evaluation tool to improve the understanding and prevention of these aggressions in our healthcare context.
